what an incredibly ignorent thing to say. how about apple who sue's anyone who uses i in there products.. apple god love em are the biggest rip off merchants going. Evereything realted to mac is far over priced look at that ipod case they released its like 70 buck for a case for a product that scratches that shouldnt.. There swimming in there own ego's. The quality of there computer manafacture is no where near where it used to be.
Fact is apple records were here a long time before apple computer this is the first case ever theyve lost, and an appeal is forthcoming. This is about protecting there turf.. Apple computers would and have done exactly the same to protect there's . Bit of balance needed. |

Does iTunes even have any Beatle songs to sell in their Music Store? Isn't that what iTunes does, sells music for differnt music groups/artists. iTune sells the songs and the artists get a cut of the sales, that's the way I understood it. If the Beatles allowed iTunes to sell their songs they'd get a cut of the sales, right?????  |

| I am not saying that Apple hasn't gone stupid with frivolous lawsuits, because they have, but this is different. the band of brits with bad teeth was called 'the beatles' not 'the apples'. No one cares or probably rememebers Apple music. |

| cmon mate were talking about ownership of something whether people care or dont about apples music is imaterial. Trust me also the beatles are the biggest band in history and still are case in point the beatles no1 compilation album released in 2000 was no 1 in like 30+ countries and sold tens of millions.. If apple are about to get them into itunes itll be a massive financial bonanza for them. The beatles are still huge as . Most older bands are look at the popularity and sucsess of this years rolling stones tour to. just huge. Also think back to the beatles anthology of the mid 90's the beatles were everywhere, the doco on tv the videos, the cd's, the print media magazines it was hugeee again. |
